A 16-year-old Massachusetts girl who died in a crash last week is being remembered as a witty, loving sister who always had her brothers in tow.
Brielle Mae Rose and her boyfriend, 15-year-old Cameren Gutter, both of Fall River, were killed in a car wreck around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20. She would have turned 17 next month.
“She was a witty, sassy girl who also loved to tease, was quick with humor, and loved to hassle her kid brothers, but you'd always see her carrying them around and with them in tow,” loved ones said, her obituary said.

Brad Everett Young, an actor, celebrity photographer, and advocate for arts education, was killed in a car crash in Los Angeles. He was 46.
The crash happened late Sunday, Sept. 14, when a wrong-way driver hit Young’s car on the 134 Freeway. He had just seen a movie and was driving alone, his publicist told The Hollywood Reporter. Young died at the scene. The other driver survived and was hospitalized, the outlet reported.

Ricky Hatton, the fan-favorite boxing champion and International Boxing Hall of Famer, has died at 46.
Authorities in Greater Manchester, England said that Hatton’s body was found at his home on Sunday, Sept. 14, and that they are not treating the death as suspicious.
One of Britain’s most popular fighters, Hatton held multiple world titles at light-welterweight and one at welterweight, and was named 2005 Fighter of the Year by The Ring, the Boxing Writers Association of America, and ESPN.

Ron Jon Surf Shop founder Ron DiMenna, whose surfboard sales on Long Beach Island grew into a surf empire, died Saturday, Sept. 6, the company announced Sunday. He was 88 years old.
