Kit Boucher, 71, and Jerry Boucher, 72, were walking along First Encounter Beach in Eastham around 9 a.m. when the ice gave way beneath their feet, authorities said. Eastham police responded to the Bee’s River area after receiving a report of a loose dog in the parking lot that was wet and appeared distressed.
