Support Surges For Central Mass Firefighter Injured In Firework Accident Walter "Wally" Shaw is known as many things to his local community in central Massachusetts.  When he is not serving with the Groton Fire Department, Wally can be found at the Harvard Fire Department, his parents' tractor shop or working as a certified pyrotechnician.   Unfortunately, Wally was involved in a serious accident while setting up a firework display in North Andover on July 3, according to a GoFundMe organized in his honor.  While putting up the display, the rack Wally was loading unexpectedly ignited. Wally was flown to a Boston hospital where he underwent several surgeries for…
