The Sebastian and Linda Robinson Scholarship Fund was made to honor the lives of the son and mother who were found shot to death at their Andover home on Thursday, Feb. 9.
Investigators labelled the incident as an apparent murder-suicide after it was determined that Andrew Robinson, Sebastian's father, shot both his son and wife before taking his own life.
“Obviously, we know the how; we’re trying to figure out the why right now, so we’re going to need some time to figure that out,” Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe following the horrific event.
Sebastian was born in Boston and raised in Andover, according to his obituary. He attended elementary school at Saint Augustine School before moving on to St. John's. Sebastian was in sixth grade at the time of his death.
"Sebastian loved his school community. He played the cello in the school’s string ensemble, treasured literature, and was a gifted writer," his obituary reads. "He went the extra mile in all of his assignments with creativity, a desire to learn, and a sense of wonder. Sebastian was a quiet, bright light in his circle of friends who was a compassionate classmate to those around him."
The teenager leaves behind his grandfather Joseph, aunt Christine, uncle Steven, cousin Steven and many more extended family members, the obituary continued. More information about Sebastian and Linda's funeral services can be found here.
