A Ewing man died and another man was injured in an early morning shooting outside a Trenton bar, authorities said. Kristoffer Givens, 47, was shot and killed outside Al-Lee’s Bar and Lounge on Dickinson Street, Mercer County Prosecutor Theresa Hilton said in a news release. The shooting happened at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8. Trenton police responded to a report of a shooting in progress. A Hazlet man was accused of exposing himself to a woman and inappropriately touching her at a Middletown store, authorities said. Perry Mangano, 21, was charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, fourth-degree lewdness, and fourth-degree stalking, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Friday, Dec. 6. A Farmingdale school board member and crossing guard was accused of having child pornography, authorities said. William Shaffer, 47, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 6, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release. He was charged with third-degree possession of child sexual abuse materials. A Burlington City school crossing guard was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle while on duty at a crosswalk, authorities said. Registered Sex Offender From Camden Who Trafficked Three Children Sentenced, Feds Say
A Camden man will spend more than 21 years in prison for sex trafficking three children, authorities said. Semaj Gilmore, 35, was sentenced on Thursday, Dec. 5 to 21 years and eight months in federal prison, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release.
