Driver Freed From Wrecked Vehicle After 2-Car Crash Near Ice Rink In Katonah Firefighters had to remove a door to free a driver from their car after a two-vehicle crash near an ice rink in Northern Westchester. The crash happened on Thursday, Nov. 21 around 7:30 a.m., when two cars collided on Jay Street near the entrance to the Evarts Ice Rink at the Harvey School in Katonah, according to the Katonah Fire Department.  Arriving fire crews soon realized that one of the drivers was trapped in their vehicle and used portable cutters and spreaders to free them.
