Loved ones posted frantically to Facebook asking for help to find 37-year-old Zunino, who was also known as Jackie Rotondi.

After police identified her body, some of these posts were updated with tributes to Zunino's life.

"Sadly, we did not get the ending we hoped for," reads one such Facebook post. "I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support and shared memories of Jackie. I know that Jackie’s now at peace in the knowledge she was so very loved."

Zunino was the mother of an 8-year-old girl, a post Facebook said.

"RIP to one of the best people I’ve ever known," a memorial post said. "The world is really gonna miss your light you [shone] upon it."

Zunino worked at Market Basket since 2018 and enjoyed scrapbooking, beading, and photography, according to her Facebook profile.

A lover of Hampton Beach, Zunino visited the coast as often as she could, a loved one's Facebook post said.

"I’m sorry I didn’t find you Sunday," reads another Facebook post memorializing Zunino. "I’m sorry I looked in the wrong places. I am sorry I didn't save you."

Zunino's death is under investigation, but a preliminary investigation indicates that Zunino's death was not suspicious.
