Carlton Brechlin, of Wallingford, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, operating a vehicle with unsafe tires, and injuring a vulnerable person on a public highway, authorities said. Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes Massive Traffic Jam On Route 15 In Meriden A portion of Route 15 was closed Thursday morning, Feb. 13, after a car crashed with a tractor-trailer. The wreck was reported around 7:45 a.m. between westbound Exits 66 and 68, CTRoads.org said. No one was hurt, but the crash caused a traffic jam that stretched four miles. The Department of Energy and Environmental responded to the scene because of a reported fuel leak.  Police closed the I-691 West ramp (Exit 68W) ramp Thursday morning as they cleaned, cleared, and investigated the scene. 1 Dead After Sedan Crashes Into Box Truck On I-95 In Mansfield One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning, Feb. 13, on I-95 in Mansfield, authorities said.  The wreck was reported around 12:30 a.m. near mile marker 12 when a sedan slammed into the back of a box truck, Massachusetts State Police said.  A passenger in the sedan was killed in the crash. Their name has not been released.  Police closed the middle and right lanes of I-95 for hours as they cleaned and cleared the scene.  Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.
