3-Alarm Christmas Morning House Fire Displaces 2 In Norwalk
Two people were displaced after a three-alarm Christmas morning house fire in Connecticut. The blaze broke out in Fairfield County just before 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 25 in Norwalk in a 2.5-story home on Pine Hill Avenue. Initial reports stated there was smoke in the basement. Upon arrival, Norwalk Fire Department Engine 3 encountered smoke coming from multiple windows, Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Adam Markowitz said. Fast Moving Fire: Antique Car Destroyed In Norwalk
A two-story detached garage housing an antique car was destroyed in Fairfield County during an early morning fire. The fire took place in Norwalk around 12:35 a.m., Wednesday, May 24 at 163 Perry Ave. Deputy Chief Timothy Reardon, of the Norwalk Fire Department, said arriving crews found flames coming from the fully-involved structure. Toxic Fumes Injure 4 During Haz-Mat Incident At Norwalk Business
Four employees of a Norwalk building warehouse suffered possible inhalation injuries following an explosion. The incident took place in Norwalk around 2:50 p.m., Thursday, April 13 at a warehouse building located at 16 Muller Ave. The initial call was for an explosion with a chemical release, said Timothy Reardon, deputy chief of the Norwalk Fire Department.
