A mother of three was found dead, and a man was left fighting for his life after what police say was a domestic violence incident inside a Connecticut home.
Carrie Stetson, 54, a Winsted business owner, was found dead inside a home in the 200 block of Oak Street in Winchester, according to police. Leon Stetson, 67, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Hartford Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Authorities did not disclose the cause of her death.

A suspected burglary at a vacant Connecticut home ended with a foot chase, extensive property damage, and two men behind bars, according to police.
Mathew Jones, 46, of Waterbury, and Reginald Leach, 45, of Hartford, are facing multiple felony charges after police said they were caught inside the vacant home during the break-in, Windsor Locks police said.
