One Of Nation's Richest Women Calls Branford Home; 5 Of America's Wealthiest Live In CT Forbes released its annual list of the nation's 400 richest Americans this week, and a Connecticut hedge fund manager ranked among the top 40. In all, five billionaires call the Nutmeg State home.  Steve Cohen, who runs Point72 Asset Management headquartered in Stamford, was ranked 39th among the richest Americans, and the richest person in Connecticut.  According to Forbes, the 68-year-old Greenwich resident is worth an estimated $21.3 billion, a massive increase from when he was worth $13.6 million in 2019.   Cohen purchased the New York Mets in 2020.  Related:…

Rachel Minaya, Wife Of Yankees Exec Omar Minaya, Found Dead In Harrington Park Home: Prosecutor Rachel Minaya, who is married to former Mets general manager and current Yankees executive Omar Minaya, was found dead in their New Jersey home over the weekend, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office confirmed on Monday afternoon. Minaya, 55, was found in the bathroom of a Harrington Park home unconscious and unresponsive, bringing local police officers to the scene just after 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Minaya was rushed to the Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood after they failed to resuscitate her.…
