Engine Stall Risk Sparks Recall For 294K+ Honda, Acura Vehicles
Nearly 295,000 Honda and Acura vehicles are being recalled due to a software issue that could cause engines to lose power or stall, increasing crash risks, officials said.
Honda, which also owns Acura, announced the recall in a news release on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The 294,612 recalled vehicles include select 2021-2025 Acura TLX Type S, 2022-2025 Acura MDX Type S, and 2023-2025 Honda Pilot models.

A 37-year-old Connecticut man was killed Sunday morning, Sept. 22, after his car careened into a tree along I-91 in Hartford County, police said.
Daniel Adam Jeannotte, of Enfield, died around 2:30 a.m. when his vehicle veered off of the Exit 40 off-ramp in Windsor, Connecticut State Police said.
It's unclear why, but Jeannotte's car went off the left side of the off-ramp, over the shoulder, and crashed into a tree, authorities said.

Middlesex County resident Paul Krampitz, age 65, of Cromwell, was killed Thursday, Sept. 18, when a car crashed into his Harley Davidson motorcycle around 4:15 p.m. near Exit 33 on Route 9 in Berlin, Connecticut State Police said.
