A Connecticut community is rallying around an expectant mother after her husband died suddenly earlier this month.
Matthew Dolbey, of Chester, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 18, his family said in his obituary. The 35-year-old was expecting the birth of a child with his wife, Melissa Carpenter. His family did not disclose the cause of death.

The family of a man who was shot and killed outside of his Connecticut home is asking the public to help them say goodbye.
Christopher Shannon, 32, was shot and killed on Monday night, March 9, outside of his house on Allen Place in Hartford, police said.
