Fire Risk Sparks Recall Of 217K+ Lawnmowers: See If Yours Is Affected More than 200,000 lawnmowers are being recalled because some have overheated, leading to fires and causing injuries, officials said. Ryobi is recalling more than 217,000 cordless lawnmowers due to a fire hazard after nearly 100 reports of overheating incidents, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a news release on Thursday, Feb. 6. The mowers have been linked to five fires and two burn injuries. Home Depot Adds DoorDash, Uber Eats For On-Demand Deliveries Forget about only getting dinner delivered, you can now use Uber Eats and DoorDash to order tools, hardware, and other things you need to complete home projects. The Home Depot has expanded its delivery options by teaming up with DoorDash and Uber Eats, the home improvement chain said in a news release on Wednesday, Jan. 22. The on-demand delivery apps will be able to bring customers some supplies and materials in as little as an hour. CT Man Intentionally Crashed Into His Fiancee In Shopping Center Parking Lot: Reports A 34-year-old Connecticut man is accused of intentionally driving into his fiancee in a shopping center parking lot earlier this week and leaving her in critical condition, reports said.  Anthony Assad, of Milford, is charged with first-degree assault, evading responsibility, and reckless driving, NBC Connecticut reported.  Police said Assad sped up as he drove toward the woman in the 150 Barnum Ave. shopping center in Stratford Tuesday morning, Nov. 19, before he crashed into the woman, throwing her onto the Honda's windshield, per the CT Post.  Video shows Assad getti…
