CT Man Caught After Dragging Trooper 20 Feet In Motorcycle Escape: Police A Connecticut motorcyclist who police say dragged a state trooper 20 feet during an attempted escape from a traffic stop sending the officer to the hospital has been arrested after a months-long investigation. Kelvin Miranda, 23, of East Hartford, was arrested last week, four months after a dramatic incident in Mansfield, Connecticut State Police said. A trooper patrolling Routes 195 and 275 around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 heard motorcycles revving their engines and went to investigate. 69-Year-Old CT Woman ID'd As Victim In Fatal Crash After Van Hits Tree A 69-year-old Connecticut woman was killed earlier this week when her car went off of a road and crashed into a tree, police said.  Jen Webster, of Storrs, lost control of her Honda Odyssey on Chaffiteeville Road in Mansfield a little after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, and hit a tree, Connecticut State Police said. Alert Issued For Missing 28-Year-Old CT Man Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a 28-year-old man who went missing in Connecticut.  Gregory Stearns was last seen in the Tolland County town of Mansfield on Monday, Nov. 18, according to Connecticut State Police.  Stearns is described as a white man who is 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds.
