Plane Crash: 4 CT Residents Killed In Vermont Including Student
Four Connecticut residents killed in a small plane crash in Vermont as they returned home from a luncheon have been identified.
The Vermont State Police said the incident occurred in Addison County, Vermont, in Ferrisburgh on Sunday, Sept. 8.
The victims, whose bodies were recovered on Monday, Sept. 9, have been identified as:
Paul Pelletier, age 55, of Columbia, in Tolland County
Frank Rodriquez, age 88, of Lebanon, in New London County
Susan Van Ness, age 51, of Middletown, in Middlesex County

CT Man Shot, Killed In Vermont: Suspect At Large, Police Say
A 27-year-old Connecticut man was shot dead in an incident that happened in Northern Vermont, police said.
The victim, 27-year-old Wilmer Rodriguez of Hartford, was killed in an incident that happened on Saturday, Oct. 14 in Newport Town, Vermont, according to Vermont State Police.
On the day of the incident, around 6:45 p.m., police were told that a man had been shot inside a home on Farrar Road. Troopers then discovered Rodriguez's body at the scene, which was later brought to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in Burlington for an autopsy.

Greenwich 20-Year-Old Dies In Rapids In Vermont's Green Mountains
A 20-year-old man from Connecticut is dead after getting caught in the rapids while swimming at a park in northwestern Vermont, according to authorities.
On Tuesday, July 4, Fairfield County resident Samuel Paprin, of Greenwich, was swimming at the Bolton Portholes, located in in the western foothills of the Green Mountains, in Bolton, Vermont, the state’s police reported.
A preliminary investigation into Paprin’s death shows that at approximately 4:30 p.m., he got caught in the swimming hole’s rapids and was found unresponsive.

Actor Treat Williams, Stamford Native, Killed In Crash
Connecticut native and well-known actor Treat Williams best known for his role in the TV show "Everwood" and the movie "Hair," was killed in a crash in Vermont.
Williams, who grew up in Fairfield County, in the city of Stamford, was killed around 4:50 p.m., Monday, June 12 in Bennington County on Vermont Route 30 in Dorset.
Williams was born in Stamford and grew up in Rowayton, a coastal village in the city of Norwalk. He appeared in hundreds of TV shows and movies, but is most remembered for his portrayal of the suave doctor in "Everwood."
