Naugatuck Deputy Police Chief Arrested, Placed On Paid Leave During Investigation The Naugatuck Deputy Police Chief Daniel Norck was arrested on Friday, Sept. 18, and immediately placed on paid leave.  Thomaston police arrested Norck, though they have not said why.  Naugatuck police officials said they learned of his arrest on Friday but did not comment further.  Naugatuck police said Norck would remain on paid leave until an internal affairs investigation could be completed.  This is a developing story.
