CT Woman Nabbed In Fatal Hit-Run Crash Police captured a 45-year-old Connecticut woman for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 47-year-old woman. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 10 p.m., Friday, in the area of Main Street and Boston Avenue in East Haven. East Haven Police said Gina LaVacca, of East Haven, was found suffering from life-threatening injuries and pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a sedan that fled the area.
