Six people were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after the car they were in went off the road, hit a guardrail, and rolled over, authorities said. The crash was reported just after 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, near Exit 2 on Route 72 West in New Britain. A 32-year-old Connecticut man was killed after his truck crashed into a tree earlier this week, authorities said. Kenneth Lawrence Martin, of Naugatuck, died just after midnight on Wednesday, Jan. 15, when he wrecked along Route 8 in Winchester, Connecticut State Police said.
