New Haven County resident Jessica Ciola, of Bethany, was found around 11:20 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 25 in the area of North Pease Road in Woodbridge. Ciola was discovered by a resident in the Jeep which was off the road, severely damaged, and partially overturned, said the Woodbridge Police. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel. CT Woman Shot In Head, Convicted Felon Charged A Connecticut woman was found shot in the head outside of a home with an infant nearby. The incident took place in New Haven County around 7:50 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 3 on Raymond Street in Woodbridge. Rickey Trayham, age 28, of New Haven, was found guilty on Wednesday, May 31 by a jury in New Haven of the murder of Rondell Atkinson on Monday, June 7, 2021, said New Haven State’s Attorney John Doyle, Jr.  According to evidence introduced at trial, Traynham shot Atkinson, age 33, of West Haven, during a robbery at the Pease Road Playground in Woodbridge.  Atkinson’s body was found the next day by a jogger.
