A Connecticut man has pleaded guilty to a deadly hit-and-run last year that killed a pastor who also served as a Connecticut State Police chaplain, a report said. Gabriel Figueroa, 26, of New Britain, admitted to one count of evading responsibility resulting in death in the September 2024 crash on Route 9 in Berlin, a court report said. Three Americans have died, and three more were wounded after a deadly ambush by an ISIS gunman near Palmyra, Syria, on Saturday, Dec. 13, according to Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell.
