CT Worker Pinned Under Truck After Crash; Police Investigating Cause A pedestrian was seriously hurt after a crash on Hartford Turnpike near 862 in Vernon, police said. Officers arrived to find the person lying in the road under their work truck. Vernon Police, Vernon EMS, and the Vernon Fire Department gave aid. The victim was taken to Hartford Hospital.
