CT Tractor Trailer Driver Involved In Fatal NY Crash: Sheriff
Authorities have released details in the Friday, Jan. 17 crash along Route 9 that left one person dead in Putnam County. Norton Segarra, 74, of Beacon, NY was heading south when he veered into the northbound lanes and was struck by a tractor-trailer driven by a 60-year-old Milford, CT man around 1:30 p.m. near Route 403 in Garrison, County Sheriff Kevin J. A 40-year-old Connecticut woman died in a crash Thursday evening, Jan. 16 on Route 287 in New Jersey, authorities said. A Freightliner tractor-trailer, Honda Civic, Audi S5, and Ford F350 were heading north when he Freightliner struck the back of the Honda at approximately 5:40 p.m. near milepost 66.3 in Mahwah, New Jersey State Police Sgt.
