Stafford Police and Troop C personnel were dispatched to Lake Shore Boulevard at approximately 1:05 p.m. following reports of an ATV crash, Connecticut State Police said. Initial reports indicated serious injuries, leading Life Star to respond. However, police later clarified that Life Star responded as a precaution. Ellington Woman Killed In Snowmobile Crash At Tolland County Ski Resort, Passenger Hurt A 49-year-old woman was killed this week after the snowmobile she was piloting crashed at a Tolland County resort, authorities said.  Jamie Gallicchio, of Ellington, was involved in a crash around 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Sun Valley Resort at 51 Old Springfield Rd. in Stafford, police said.  Gallicchio was ejected from the snowmobile in the crash.
