Man Who Attacked Jogger Linked To 2018 Sexual Assault In Same Area: Police Police have arrested a Connecticut man nearly a year after investigators say he grabbed a jogger in New Haven County, shoved her into the woods, and attacked her at gunpoint. Body-Cam Video Shows Suspect Fired First In New Haven Officer-Involved Fatal Shooting: Report The Connecticut Office of Inspector General released its preliminary findings in a fatal officer-involved shooting last week and found that the suspect fired at police first.  Jebrell Conley, 36, was shot and killed on Thursday, Sept. 19, at a West Haven car wash on Boston Road.  The New Haven Police Department's Violent Crime Task Force went to arrest Conley around 5 p.m. on an outstanding robbery warrant. CT Woman, 37, Found Dead Floating In Quinnipiac River Police in Connecticut are investigating after a 37-year-old woman's body was found dead floating in the water of the Quinnipiac River. New Haven Police Officer Christian Bruckhart said the incident occurred in New Haven around 7:50 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, near Brewery Square. Bruckhart said the New Haven Fire Department responded with water rescue, and the body was located near James Street and River Streets along the embankment.
