Green Laser Strikes Delta Plane Over Connecticut; FAA Investigating The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after someone shone a green laser into the cockpit of a Delta Air Lines flight as it flew over Connecticut.  The incident happened Thursday night, June 11, as a Delta flight from Dallas to Boston began its final descent, according to the FAA. The aircraft was still flying at about 20,000 feet around 9:15 p.m. when the green laser struck the cockpit while passing over the Franklin and Norwich area. Ex-Cop Who Bragged About ‘Officer Sexy’ Nickname Indicted On Child Porn Charge: DOJ Federal prosecutors say a former New Hampshire police officer living in Haverhill has been indicted for receiving child sexual abuse material. John Giarrusso, 49, was indicted on one count of receipt of child pornography. He was arrested in August on the federal charge, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Massachusetts. Charging documents allege that between Oct. 16 and Oct. 17, 2024, Giarrusso used the messaging app Kik to receive video files that depicted child sexual abuse.
