Police ID Fisherman Who Drowned In CT Glen A 27-year-old Connecticut fisherman died over the weekend after going underwater in a river in Fairfield County. Freddie Pulla, of Bridgeport, was fishing near Devil's Glen in Weston on Sunday evening, May 25, when he entered the water and did not resurface around 6:20 p.m., fire officials said. Cold-water rescue crews from the Weston Fire Department searched the river but could not find him because of the poor conditions, officials said.
