Drunk Driver Crashes Into Plow Truck, Passengers Flee On Route 9 In Berlin: Police A 19-year-old man faces drunk driving charges after allegedly crashing into a state plow truck while it was applying sand on Route 9 in Berlin. The crash happened on Friday, Feb. 24 around 1 a.m. on Route 9 southbound in the area of Exit 23 when a Honda Accord struck the rear of a Connecticut Department of Transportation plow truck, according to state police.  After troopers arrived at the scene, the driver of the plow truck told them that he had been treating the roadway when the Honda hit him.
