Covid-19: These CT Testing Sites Don't Require An Appointment For those needing a COVID-19 test, Community Health Center is offering sites statewide that do not require an appointment.  In addition to not needing an appointment state officials said you do not have to be exhibiting symptoms to receive the tests. Temporary Sobriety Checkpoint In Hartford Going Up Today Hartford Police will set up an OUI checkpoint in the area of 175 New Britain Ave. today. The checkpoint will operate today, July 23, from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., said Connecticut State Police. Checkpoints are part of the state’s anti-operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs enforcement. At the checkpoints, police will be randomly stopping vehicles and checking the driver for sobriety.
