Apple Issues 'Update Now' Warning To iPhone, iPad Users
Apple has just issued what it calls an urgent update for iPhone and iPad users that it says provides protection two critical security vulnerabilities related to exploits of user data while browsing on these devices. The download to iOS 18.1.1 fixes issues in JavaScriptCore and WebKit that could allow attackers to execute malicious code through crafted web content. Apple says users should install the update promptly. You can do this by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update on your device. For more information on the updates from Apple, click here.

Connecticut State Police are investigating after two men were seen stealing tens of thousands of dollars from a highway rest area. Shelton Man Accused Of Producing Child Sex Abuse Images
A Fairfield County man is behind bars after being charged with allegedly producing child pornography. Ross DeLibro, age 53, of Shelton, was charged in June with the production of child pornography following an investigation by the Connecticut State Police and Homeland Security. Two Bridgeport juveniles have been charged with robbery after allegedly stealing $200 from a boy attempting to buy an iPhone on Snapchat. The two juveniles were arrested in Bridgeport on Wednesday, March 22, for the incident which took place on Feb. 23, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police. The juvenile victim contacted the suspects via Snapchat regarding the posted sale of an Apple iPhone. A former U.S. Postal Service supervisor from Fairfield County is facing jail time after admitting to stealing packages filled with expensive electronics from a Connecticut post office. Stratford resident Zoheb Deura, 34, pleaded guilty this week in Bridgeport district court to embezzlement of mail by a U.S. Postal Service employee.
