CT Man, 34, Killed In Rollover Crash A Connecticut man was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 91. The incident took place in New Haven County around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, March 3 in Meriden. According to Connecticut State Police, the man, identified as Charles Davenport, age 31, of New Haven, was driving a 2023 Kia Niro southbound when he veered onto the left shoulder, plowed into the grassy median, and rolled over before hitting a tree stump. Unseen, Fatal SUV Roll-Over Crash Discovered On I-91; Victim ID'd Police are investigating the discovery of a dead person found in a rolled-over vehicle on the side of I-91. On Thursday, Nov. 12, around 12:15 p.m. Connecticut State Troopers, Troop H-Hartford, said they believe a single-vehicle fatal rollover accident occurred sometime during the early morning hours, but wasn’t found until later. Good Boy, Yodel! CT Police Dog Makes Big Drug Bust A police dog named Yodel made a huge drug bust on I-91 on Thursday, Aug. 20. During a routine traffic stop on Interstate 91 in Meriden, police had Yodel, a narcotics detective dog, walk around the vehicle. The dog indicated the presence of narcotics, police said. Officers allegedly discovered a suitcase with more than 2 kilograms of cocaine inside. The Texas driver was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell and is being held on a $250,00 bond.
