The first case of COVID-19 reinfection has been confirmed in the United States. The man, a 25-year-old in Reno, Nevada, was first infected in mid-April. He got sick again in late May, testing positive a second time. The second COVID infection was more serious than the first, scientists say. The owner of Novel Psychopharmacology in Milford - a psychiatrist who treats opioid and alcohol addiction - is being charged in an international money laundering scheme involving the importation of illegal drugs. Rahim Shafa, 62, and his wife Nahid “Nina” Tormosi Shafa, 62, were each indicted on Friday, Aug. 7, on charges of international money laundering conspiracy.
