DNA Helps Nab 20-Year-Old In Darien Car Theft Years Later, Police Say A 20-year-old Waterbury man has been arrested more than two years after allegedly stealing a car in Fairfield County. Rahquel Cranford was apprehended Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Stamford Superior Court on an arrest warrant stemming from a car theft in Darien in September 2021, according to Darien Police. Officers were called on Sept. 9, 2021 for a stolen vehicle in Darien on Long Neck Point Road. The car was found later that day in Waterbury.
