A 49-year-old woman was charged after police said she stole more than $800 worth of merchandise from a Connecticut department store. Police responded to a report of shoplifting at Boscov's in New Haven County at about 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3, according to the Milford Police Department. The store is located at 1201 Boston Post Road in Milford, police said. One of two suspects in Connecticut is facing charges after allegedly assaulting and robbing someone during a planned transaction, police said. In Hartford County, police were dispatched to an area of Tariff Street in Enfield at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Monday, March 28, where there was a report of a robbery that had just taken place. A woman was arrested after police said she stole clothes worth more than $600 from a Fairfield County store. Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Togs, a store located at 66 Elm Street in New Canaan, at about 1:30 p.m. on June 30, authorities said. A woman was charged for allegedly stealing clothes worth $780 from a Fairfield County store.
