A 29-year-old Connecticut man was killed, and two women were injured during a shooting at a rental hall. The incident occurred in New Haven County just before 1:30 a.m. Monday, May 13, at So Blu Niq, a part facility in Waterbury. According to Lt. Two teenagers were taken into custody after driving a stolen vehicle in Connecticut and fleeing a traffic stop, police said. The incident happened in Fairfield County on Wednesday, May 1 at around 11:45 p.m., when two people were seen trying to enter vehicles on Hillspoint Road near Compo Beach in Westport, according to Westport Police. A 75-year-old man has admitted to beating a 10-year-old Hampden County girl with a rock and leaving her to drown in a river in Western Massachusetts. A former Connecticut high school math teacher is being accused of sexually assaulting a student. Middlesex County resident James Hanson, age 35, of Middletown, was arrested by warrant on Tuesday, April 2. Hanson is alleged to have had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a minor student, said Chief Erik Costa of the Middletown Police. Car Burglar Smashes Window At Darien Country Club, Steals Purse, Phone
A car burglar smashed the window of a car and made off with a purse and phone at a Fairfield County country club. The incident occurred in Darien at the Darien Country Club around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 31. According to Sgt. Almost a year after a hit-and-run driver killed a Connecticut motorist, the man allegedly responsible for the crime has been charged. Dajon Marques Morris, age 20, of New Haven, was arrested on Tuesday, April 2, for the Wednesday, June 7, 2023, crime that killed a 42-year-old New Haven man.
