Kevin Esterly — the Pennsylvania man who ran off to Mexico with a teenage girl in 2018 — has now been convicted of repeatedly raping the same victim when she was a child, prosecutors announced on Wednesday, March 5.
The disturbing allegations first emerged when the victim came forward to police in February 2025, saying Esterly had sexually abused her for years, beginning when she was a child.

A 21-year-old Connecticut man with a history of reckless driving has been charged after allegedly causing a violent crash that seriously injured his passenger, state police said.
Wes McRoy, of Thompson, was arrested Friday, June 6, and charged with reckless driving, reckless endangerment, operating under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and with a motor vehicle, according to Connecticut State Police.

Duffle Bag Full Of Guns, Drugs Linked To CT Man: Police
Police have linked a Connecticut man to a duffel bag containing drugs and firearms found in an abandoned apartment building last year, authorities said.
Geoffrey Feliciano, 37, of Ansonia, faces multiple felony charges, police said.
Ansonia officers responded to a call at an abandoned building in the 200 block of Main Street after someone discovered a duffel bag filled with cocaine, marijuana, fentanyl, meth, tramadol, ecstasy, and drug packaging material, police said. They also recovered seven guns, one of which had been reported stolen in Trumbull in 2003.

CT Couple Killed In PA Hit-And-Run; Driver Sentenced To Up To 56 Years
A Pennsylvania man was sentenced to 26 years, nine months to 56 years, 10 months in state prison for causing the high-speed hit-and-run crash that killed a Connecticut couple in Bucks County last February.
John Thomas Wadlinger Jr., 32, of Bensalem, received the sentence from Common Pleas Judge C. Theodore Fritsch on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at the Bucks County Justice Center. He was also ordered to pay $14,971.11 in restitution and $8,100 in fines for the crash that killed Rebecca Whiddon, 33, and her husband Richard Whiddon, 37, both of Brooklyn, CT.
