She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Search On For 4 Armed Home Invasion Suspects In Wallkill Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for four suspects who forcefully invaded a Hudson Valley home with a gun, stealing jewelry and cash. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, the home invasion occurred at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, on Ross Lane in Wallkill. Update: Dead Body Found On I-90 By DOT Workers Identified As Albany Man A person found dead on I-90 near the Patroon Island Bridge by state Department of Transportation workers has been identified as a Capital Region man. New York State Police said Lawrence N. Viscio, 58, of Albany, was found by the employees at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3. His cause of death is pending autopsy and further investigation. Troopers closed the right lane of I-90 following the body's discovery in Rensselaer for about 1.5 hours for investigation purposes.  The investigation is ongoing.  This remains a developing story. Port Jervis Man Charged With Rape Of Minor Under 17, Police Searching For More Victims An Orange County man is behind bars after the alleged rape and sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 17. Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden alleges that in July, Jonathan T. Decker, age 26, of Port Jervis, met with the victim, who is less than 17 years old, and engaged in the act of sexual conduct, including intercourse, in Port Jervis.  Decker was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 27, and charged with criminal sexual act, sex abuse and rape. Breaking: Two Killed In Raging Knox House Fire Two people were found dead inside a Capital Region home after a raging fire destroyed the structure. Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple, Sr., said the fire started around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, in the town of Knox on Thompsons Lake Road.
