Accountant Took $54K From CT Youth, Family Nonprofit Over A Year: Police
A Connecticut woman is accused of stealing more than $50,000 from a nonprofit that supports local young people, authorities said.
Jennifer Green, 48, of Oakdale, faces charges of first-degree larceny, first-degree computer crime, and third-degree identity theft, according to Connecticut State Police.
State police opened the investigation last month after leaders at AHM Youth and Family Services in Hebron noticed several discrepancies in the nonprofit's bookkeeping.
