8 Inches Of Snow Could Slam Parts Of North Jersey, NWS Says In Latest Update The National Weather Service (NWS) in Mount Holly has expanded Winter Storm Warnings to include all of southeastern Pennsylvania and portions of central New Jersey. Passenger, 22, Killed In Route 80 Crash: Njsp A 22-year-old Union City man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Route 80 early Saturday, Jan. 18, authorities said. A Honda driven by a 22-year-old Belleville man was heading west when it veered off the road and struck a tree in Knowlton near milepost 6.2 around 3:05 a.m., according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan. The driver sustained minor injuries in the crash, while one passenger, a 19-year-old Passaic man, suffered moderate injuries. Milford Tractor Trailer Driver Involved In Fatal NY Crash: Sheriff Authorities have released details in the Friday, Jan. 17 crash along Route 9 that left one person dead in Putnam County. Norton Segarra, 74, of Beacon, NY was heading south when he veered into the northbound lanes and was struck by a tractor-trailer driven by a 60-year-old Milford, CT man around 1:30 p.m. near Route 403 in Garrison, County Sheriff Kevin J. Video Shows Dump Truck Barreling Into North Bergen Target Store, Serious Injuries Reported Six people were injured including two seriously when a dump trailer struck a tractor trailer before barreling into the North Bergen Target store Friday, Jan. 17 ( scroll for video). Sinkhole Swallows Car, Tractor Trailer After Water Main Breaks In Wayne A water main eruption Thursday, Jan 16 in Wayne caused the roadway to buckle and left a tractor-trailer and car stranded in large craters, police said. The North Jersey Water Commission water main on Demarest Drive, an industrial area of the township, broke around 5:13 p.m., according to Detective Capt. Dan Daly of the Wayne Police Department.
