A violent crash involving two motorcycles left both riders with life-threatening injuries earlier this weekend, authorities said. Both had to be airlifted for emergency care. A motorist suffered serious injuries in a crash after eluding police in Connecticut. Connecticut State Police said the incident occurred in New London County at about 7:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, in Colchester. Firefighters were able to pull off a daring rescue after a woman fell 25 feet off a bridge in Torrington. The incident happened on Monday afternoon, Jan. 16 when a woman fell off a bridge on Norfolk Road (Route 272) into a river near the Reuben Hart Reservoir, according to the Torrington Fire Department. State Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal wrong-way driver crash that killed two Connecticut women and seriously injured a man. The crash took place on Route 82 in the Middlesex County town of Haddam on Tuesday, May 31, said the Connecticut State Police. Boy Falls 25 Feet At Park In Connecticut
A 12-year-old boy suffered serious injuries when he fell 25 feet on Monday at the Cotton Hollow Preserve, police said. Officers from the Glastonbury Police Department responded to the park at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, when the boy fell off a cliff, investigators said. Upon arrival, they found him breathing, but unresponsive. The boy was extricated by the local fire department and LifeStar flew him to Hartford Hospital.
