A storm dropped as much as 5.5 inches in some areas, according to the National Weather Service. Lisbon in New London County saw the highest snowfall in Connecticut with 5.5 inches, while Wolcott in New Haven County recorded 4.5 inches. Fairfield County towns, including New Fairfield and Ridgefield, saw up to 3.2 inches. Most other areas across the state reported accumulations between 1 and 3 inches. Hainef Ramon Baker, 28, of Norwich, allegedly stole a Volkswagon parked outside a Valero gas station in Willimantic on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 4, authorities said. Police later found the child unharmed and arrested Baker in Preston. CT Man Dies After Rolling Classic Convertible Off Retaining Wall A Connecticut man was killed after rolling his classic 1965 Ford Mustang off of a retaining wall. The crash occurred in New London County around 9:30 a.m., Sunday, July 21, in Preston near 194 Middle Road.
