Man Parks SUV In Train's Path In Hudson Valley, Runs Away, Cops Say Police in New York say a Connecticut man intentionally parked his Chevy Equinox on train tracks in the path of a CSX train and then ran away only to be caught. The Hudson Valley incident occurred in Ulster County around 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, south of the Esopus Avenue railroad crossing in the town of Espous. According to Capt. Joseph Sciutto of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of a train hitting a car. The incident occurred in Westport on Thursday, May 23, on the crosswalk at Post Road East in the area of Main Street. According to Lt. Reports Of A Stroller Being Pushed Into Water Closes Bridgeport Park A popular Fairfield County park was closed after police received a report of a stroller being pushed into the water. The incident occurred at Beardsley Park at 3102 E Main St., in Bridgeport, around 8:10 p.m., Monday, May 20. According to Tiadora Josef of the Bridgeport Police, the department received a report of a stroller being in the water at the park, which abuts a river. Josef said the Bridgeport Fire Department searched the water as a precaution and worst-case scenario. Nothing was found, and the park was reopened.
