A New York State trooper was injured after a car spun out on the Thruway and slammed into her marked patrol vehicle while she was helping another disabled driver. For the second time in a week, a driver has crashed into a Connecticut State Police vehicle that was parked on the side of an interstate, but this time the trooper was hurt. A Connecticut State Trooper narrowly avoided serious injuries this week when a car slammed into the back of the trooper’s vehicle at highway speeds while the trooper was making a traffic stop.
