A Connecticut man was arrested this week after allegedly threatening to murder paramedics who had parked their ambulance outside his home while responding to an unrelated call, police said.
Keith Trapasso, 73, of Orange, began yelling and swearing at the crew on Wednesday, Jan. 7, after they were sitting in the ambulance outside his home on Indian Hill Road while completing paperwork, police said.
After a few minutes, the crew finished their work, but Trapasso continued, police said.

A 26-year-old woman was killed when her vehicle slid off an icy New Jersey roadway and overturned into a pond on Saturday morning, Dec. 27, police said.
At 9:10 a.m., officers responded to West Malaga Road and Bracken Drive after a passing motorist reported the crash, Monroe Township police said.
Investigators determined that a 2025 Kia Sportage had been traveling eastbound on West Malaga Road, when it began to side-slip due to icy road conditions, police said.

Wrong-Way Driver, 30, Dies In Late-Night CT Crash: Cops
A 30-year-old wrong-way driver was killed in a crash late Saturday night, Dec. 13 in Connecticut, state police said.
The victim was identified as Wendy Lara, of Manchester, who state police say was driving the wrong way when the crash occurred near Exit 85 on Route 5/15 South in Wethersfield.
The crash happened just before midnight, when Lara’s Toyota Camry, traveling northbound in the southbound lanes on Route 5/15, collided head-on with a vehicle traveling southbound, police said.
