For years, sisters Cindy Shuster and Nancy Stultz spent their time at the beach searching for a comfortable way to put their feet up.
They tried everything from coolers to beach chairs with built-in footrests to building endless sand piles. Nothing stayed comfortable for long.
Then, during what Shuster calls the perfect beach day in Avalon, NJ, in Summer 2025, inspiration struck. Shuster, of Baltimore, MD, and Stultz, of Frederick, MD, filled both with a few inches of sand to prop up their feet. It worked.

Route 303 Crash: 5 Hurt, 2 Seriously, In Three-Car Orangeburg Collision, Cops
Five people were injured, including two seriously, in a three-car crash on Route 303 in Rockland County on Friday night, July 10, police said.
Orangetown police responded to the crash on Route 303, just south of the intersection with Route 340, at approximately 8:52 p.m., where a 2014 Volkswagen station wagon traveling north on Route 303 struck a 2009 Lexus SUV that was stopped in traffic, according to Capt. Michael Shannon. The impact pushed the Lexus into a 2017 Honda sedan that was also stopped, police said.
