Woman, 27, Hospitalized After Shooting; Police Ask For Tips A 27-year-old Connecticut woman is recovering after she was shot in New Haven County on Friday, Nov. 1, authorities said.  The Ansonia woman turned up at Griffin Hospital in Derby just before 8 p.m., but investigators believe she was shot in Ansonia. Doctors transferred her to another hospital, where she was in stable condition.  Police believe the shooting is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the community.  Ansonia investigators ask anyone with information on the shooting to contact detectives at 203-735-1885.
