A new map is putting America’s moving patterns in sharp focus.
The Tax Foundation analyzed newly released IRS migration data showing where taxpayers moved between 2022 and 2023, using returns filed in calendar years 2022 and 2023.
The data shows continued movement toward the South and Sun Belt, with major gains for states including Texas, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

A pantry staple built for road trips, parties, and desk drawers is now the subject of a nationwide recall.
John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. announced the voluntary recall on Tuesday, May 5, and the FDA published the company notice on Wednesday, May 6.
The recall involves snack mixes sold under the Fisher, Southern Style Nuts, Squirrel Brand, and Good & Gather brands.
The products were flavored with a seasoning made by a third-party supplier that contained recalled dry milk powder from California Dairies, Inc.

John Beam, a legendary college football coach, athletic director, role model, and father figure who gained national fame through Netflix’s hit series "Last Chance U," has died after being shot on campus.
Beam was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after the incident at Laney College in Oakland, California, on Thursday, Nov. 13, before succumbing to his injuries Friday afternoon, Nov. 14. He was 66 years old.
