CT Parents Plead Not Guilty After 4-Year-Old Walking Alone Killed In Pre-Dawn Crash
A 4-year-old girl was struck and killed after leaving her Manchester home alone before dawn. Her parents have pleaded not guilty to charges tied to her death, a news report said.
Taylor Biron, 28, and Nathael Cortes, 26, pleaded not guilty Wednesday, Sept. 9, in Manchester Superior Court. Each faces a charge of risk of injury to a child, according to NBC Connecticut.
Their daughter, Akari Cortes, was struck on East Center Street around 4:30 a.m. on June 10.
