Tow Truck Driver Killed On CT Roadside Leaves Behind Wife, 2 Young Children A Connecticut tow truck driver who was killed while working along a roadside leaves behind a wife and two young children, his family said. The crash happened on Tunxis Avenue in Bloomfield just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, when a vehicle struck him and then flipped onto its roof, police said.  The tow truck operator suffered severe head trauma and died at the scene, Bloomfield Police Capt. James Salvatore said.
