27-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle CT Crash
A 27-year-old Connecticut man died after failing to negotiate a right curve and striking a metal guardrail on Route 148. The crash occurred in Middlesex County just before 1:20 a.m., Thursday, June 20, near the Cedar Lake Road intersection in Chester. According to the Connecticut State Police, Sean Francis Guiheen of Killingworth was heading west on Route 148 on a 2007 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a right curve in the road and veered into the eastbound lane and struck a metal guardrail. Fatal Crash: CT 23-Year-Old ID'd As Victim
One person was killed in an overnight crash in Fairfield County. It happened just before 11:10 p.m. Friday, June 7, in Stamford at 100 Bridge St. in Scalzi Park, An initial investigation revealed that Oscar Chinchilla-Najarro, a 23-year-old Stamford resident, was operating a 2001 Kawasaki dirt bike in the park. While traveling around the outer roadway of the park, Chinchilla-Najarro lost control of the motorcycle, mounted the curb, and crashed along the guardrail on the east side of the park, according to Sgt. Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash In Region
A man has died after a crash involving another car in Western Mass. At around 2:50 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14, officers were called to the 900 block of Boston Road for the crash involving a car and motorcycle, according to Springfield Police spokesman Ryan Walsh. The man driving the motorcycle was taken to Baystate Health where he died from his injuries, Walsh said. Walsh said a preliminary investigation indicates the motorcycle rider was driving at a high rate of speed. The driver of the car remained at the scene.
