Willimantic Man Saved From Fire By Jumping Into Dump Truck A Connecticut man who was struck on the second floor of a burning building was saved by jumping into the back of a construction dump truck that happened to be driving by. The incident took place in Windham County around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 22 in Willimantic. According to the Willimantic Fire Department, firefighters responded to a fire at 1163 Main St., for a structure fire on the second floor of a building.
